Unfollowing everyone on Twitter
Here are a few notes on why I made the decision to unfollow everybody from the siteInspire Twitter profile.
The reason why I unfollowed everybody from the siteInspire Twitter account yesterday was due to the sheer amount of DM spam and ‘mafia family invite’-style messages I was receiving, which greatly interfered with the of genuine messages I receive and try to go through as much as possible.
I will, however, start to follow those web designers, developers and agencies whose work has been featured on the site, thus providing a Twitter-directory of web talent which should hopefully be a useful value-added service that siteInspire can offer. This will be reflected in a new feature of the website that is currently in development, whereby designers and developers can add contact details against any of their websites featured in the showcase.
Apologies for any offence caused (it definitely isn’t anything personal!), but hopefully this will be for the better in the long term, or until Twitter sort out their spam issues!

This sounds fair enough to me, fully understandable considering and no offence taken!
Hopefully see you on my followers list again soon!
