The unprofessional language “schtuff, peeps” is really off-putting, and not really appropriate for a portfolio website.

I disagree N. I feel that you should present yourself in a way that shows who you are. This will help insure that you will work with people that like WHO YOU ARE. I also do not think that there is anything that can be “inappropriate” for a portfolio site.
