Razorfish

I think its great. I love the abstract quality of the background and the bold use of typography. Its easy to navigate and visually appealing. I also like the subdued sounds.

I think it’s definitely an improvement over previous Razorfish sites. The idea of having video feeds of various offices is nothing new (i can remember Mother doing something like this), but i like the filter treatment that adds artistic flare yet maintains privacy. To go a step further it would be great if these were actual live feeds with a mini-clock next to the country offices instead of recycled footage.

I dislike the fact that the work is shown so small. I think it would have been cool to add an “expand” feature that would have expanded the picture to a larger view. Also the external links out of the Razorfish.com site should open a new tab/window, i dislike having to hit back on my browser all the time and waiting for the flash to load.  Also the way to navigate new/additional content wasn’t very intuitive and a bit a “jerky”.

Having worked for Razorfish in the past, one thing i did appreciate was the culture and how i felt my feedback and dialog were welcome and taken seriously. This site is of course, testimony to that.
